sound types

There are four different types of sounds. such as:

• Diegetic sound- This is any sound within the storyline that is natural, either on scene or off.
• Non-diegetic sound- This can be any sound used to create an affect or mood that has been put into the scene. For example: music/sound effects.

• Synchronous sounds- Are sounds that happen on screen.
• Asynchronous sounds- Are sounds that happen off screen.
